Fun Follow Friday

My Wee View
I know that it is not Friday, but I found this tonight and thought it would be okay to be one day behind in the blogging world! lol!
Fun Follow Friday hosted by Simply Stacie and My Wee View. The goal of this hop is to get new Google Friend Connect Followers for your blog and be introduced to new blogs to follow! They wanted to keep it fun and easy so all you have to do is add your blog link and start blog hopping and following away! You aren’t required to write a post for your blog for Fun Follow Friday unless you want to (but they really appreciate it if you do – to help get the word out).
I hope to meet y'all!!!! Looking forward to blogging with all the moms!

B is for Blogging

So, I have always heard of "blogging", "moms that blog",  "get paid to blog", etc. I have many friends that blog, but I always thought that I was not talented enough to blog. I thought bloggers had to be able to be experienced writers, photographers, and a comic in order to have a successful blog, or just a blog at all. Little did I know that everyone blogs, and I mean everyone. After a lot of searching and playing around on the computer, I decided "what the heck, lets give it a shot". So, here goes! Three days of intense computer work and searching and designing and working late hours, I created a blog!!!!! Now don't expect funny, cute posts! I will try, but everyone in my family knows that my sister is the writer/photographer/comic! I can design, sew, and organize.....just not great at writing.
I want my blog to make you smile, and let everyone know just how a Southern Belle from Mississippi stays at home with her baby girl! i hope my site and posts will encourage you to follow me through the daily adventures that Emma Kate and I experience. Now grant it, there are going to be boring days, days that I lucky to get a shower before dinner time, and days where I am shocked if I get anything accomplished at all. Juggling the daily  tasks at hand, promoting my business, sewing, cleaning, and taking care of Miss Priss is a full day! There are days wher I think all we do is sit on the couch and nurse! Lol!
So, keep in mind that I like to design and rearrange (my husband can attest to this!) and so my blog page will change from time to time!  I love to add and rearrange, especially when I see new things!
Today starts the "daily" blogging. Maybe i can even post more than one things sometimes! I cannot hide the fact that I am officially obsessed with blogging right now. Robert laughed at me last night when he realized how excited and obsessed I am with it. Maybe it will turn into something one day. Maybe I can promote my business adventures, or help somebody, or give someone a really good laugh at how bad I blog. Either way, I am excited and I hope you follow me!
I plan on having links to other cool places where moms can find useful information. Please feel free to leave comments and ideas on the blog. If you have any suggestions or links that you think I should add, just let me know!
I hope to "see" you around!

Adding a Signature to My Posts

So I am trying so hard to get an automatic signature added to each posts. I don't know if it is because I am completely illiterate when it comes to blogs, or if the blogs are just really that difficult. I feel that it is probably the first and not the latter of the two! So this post is more of a test. I am thinking I will have to add my signature after every post until someone can be so kind as to help me out. Keep in mind, that if you are so kind as to leave me instructions, please keep them short and simple. I am a dummy when it comes to the blogs! I hope that I will become a pro sooner rather than later!

Its Tuesday.....Time for Top 2!

Top 2 things I would like on this sunny, Tuesday afternoon:
1 - My blogs to be completely designed and updated the way I am imagining it in my head :)
2 - My yard manicured as imagined in my head (or the way my next door neighbor has manicured his). Either way, I just want it to look like it used to!

Poem for all those SAHM

Song for a Fifth Child

By Ruth Hulburt Hamilton

Mother, O Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing, make up the bed,
Sew on a button and butter the bread.

Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, I've grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue,
Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo.
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due,
Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo.

The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew
And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo
But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo
Look! Aren't his eyes the most wonderful hue?
Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo.

The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
But children grow up as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
